The Lord delights in those who fear Him,
who put their hope in His unfailing love.
( Psalms 147:11 * NIV )
Now, our life would be pretty tough without hope! Alexander Pope (1688--1744) once said that "Hope Springs Eternal," and indeed it does for the children of our Heavenly Father. After all God provides our hope for it is written; For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy. ( 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 ) And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the
Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. (Romans 5:5 )
Remember the words of the Sons of Korah*, for they said: Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. ( Psalms 42:5 )
[ * Sons of Korah were temple musicians and assistants who wrote some of the Psalms. The sons of Korah are a powerful example of the grace of God. They were descendants of Korah, who rebelled against Moses and the earth opened and swallowed him up many centuries before. Yet, God chose Korah's faithful descendants to write some of the Psalms].
Now this is because God has promised us; Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed." ( Isaiah 49:23 )
So I pray that you will; Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.
( Psalms 31:24 )
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints. Amen. (Ephesians 1:18)

I Am Your Strong Tower!
Come close to Me and know My love. I am your dwelling place. I am a place of refuge in the storms of life and the wise will live there. Your mind cannot comprehend all that is taking place but know that there is peace in the storm and shelter from the enemy. Lean heavily on Me and I will strengthen you. Be encouraged to know that My Word is a safe place to dwell! Too few of My children live there. They live in fear and doubt when I have told them to come to Me for I am a strong tower from the enemy. Strength and honor will be their portion as they trust in Me. Again I say, I am a strong tower from the enemy!!! Run to Me this day and be safe for I am the only safe place to dwell in this dry and thirsty land. Let Me comfort you. Let Me give you joy and peace for I am the light of your life. Fear not! Fear not! Trust in Me. I am a strong tower from the enemy.

The Aroma of His Love

The Lord began to speak to me this morning as I was resting in His presence. He said to me, “This day My child, shall be a day of leaning on the everlasting arms of your Papa. It is a day to learn of Me and I will deposit deep inside your heart that which you have learned. Soak in My love today, linger in the atmosphere of My love.”
The Lord then took me into a vision. I was seated in a large stone pool filled with fragrant oil. The oil was warm and soothing and the aroma was so amazingly intense. (So much so I realized I could smell the fragrance in the natural as I sat in my study). The vapors from the oil rose up as steam and filled the area where the pool was located. As I reclined to relax in the warmth of the oil, He began to speak to me in a tone that was so filled with love and pure peace, it was almost captivating. This is what He spoke to me for His church.
“If you will romance Me today, I will reward you openly with the aroma of My love. I will anoint your head with a heavenly oil. I will manifest as the balm of Gilead as I apply My ointment of love upon you. You are my tender flower whose bloom is radiant with beauty. I will display you in My garden for all to see the beauty of My love upon you. I will cause others to be stirred to jealousy thus creating a desire in them to passionately seek Me. I fill those who hunger for Me. I lift up the heads of those who are downtrodden. I mend the brokenhearted. I dry the tears of the lovesick who long to know Me intimately. My favor is always surrounding My children. A broken and contrite heart I will not despise.
My alone time with you stirs My heart with joy. Can you hear Me singing over you? It’s a love song filled with passion as I anxiously prepare My bride for the final wedding dance. She is now bathing in the pool of My love as the very fragrance of heaven permeates every pore of her being. Once the very essence of My fragrant oil becomes the natural aroma of her being, she will produce the same oil...the sweet aroma of the Father’s love. Do not be in a hurry to step out of the pool. Relax and enjoy this time of soaking. You will benefit greatly by remaining submerged in My fragrant oil of love. Relax My beloved, you truly have nothing of more importance to attend to. I will call you into the next phase of preparation at its appointed time”.
The Lord then directed me to 1 Corinthians 15:49, “And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”
Truly, we, as the body of Christ, are swiftly moving in that direction. We have entered into that moment in time when we are being quickly changed and transformed from glory to glory, into the pure image of God. (2 Cor. 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord”).
We are receiving revelation at a faster rate than ever before as we come into the knowledge of the kingdom of God. He is our loving heavenly Father Who is encouraging us to get beyond ourselves and discover His ways. It is vital that we remain teachable and not let offenses hinder our spiritual growth. There has never been a greater need for the body of Christ to mature than now. We are literally seeing, in our lifetime, the greater works easily manifest which Jesus referred to in John 14:12, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father”.
Now, more than ever, we must learn to step into Him and pull away from the chaos and confusion of this world. In Him is where we find our peace and all the answers we need to face every situation in our lives. We must learn to linger in His presence and breathe the aroma of His love. Then we will be able to exhale His love into the lives of others. In the safety of His everlasting arms, we are fully equipped with the ability to become the very nature of Him and exude the aroma of His love.
Ephesians 5:2, “And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.”
Lingering in His presence...

For I have loved you with an everlasting love, a love that embraces you both now, and through time and eternity. You have come to Me in need of pure and holy love, and whoever comes to Me, I will not cast out. Rather, I draw you to Myself where you dwell in Me and I dwell in you, as we enjoy a mutual love which emanates from Me and captivates our hearts, Mine for you, and yours for Me. You are forever changed by My love, you will never be the same again.
My love delivers you from the enemy of your souls and from yourself, for My love is not full of self, but selfless. My love causes you to be able to pour out for Me and for those to whom I send you. As you continue to present yourself to Me as empty vessels, I keep filling you to overflowing, so that you may remain in My love and carry it to others, who hunger and thirst for the Living God, for His streams in the deserts, and His floods which He pours upon the dry ground, into the lives of those who wait for Me.
Are you willing to carry living water to the parched and thirsty soul? Will you water the camels like Rebecca did? Will you love the unlovely? Will you love your brethren? I have made you able to do all of these things because the love of God was shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit, as you drank the cup with Me, as you received Me, your Lord and Savior. You are well able to do all that I ask of you because of My undying love for you.

Return to the Garden!

I sat, the wind blowing on my face, then, I was there, that place, I had crossed over into that dimension. A place of the soul, the Spirit realm, another place, where the fire of God dwells and burns
forever in His Presence. I watched in amazement, as I saw stones burn
with the intensity of a thousand suns, yet our own sun was dark in
comparison to the glory of this sight. Bright beings, angles, rose up,
twirling in the air, crying, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord and greatly
to be praised." The animation of their songs was indescribable, except to
say they were so full of absolute joy and abandon, they seemingly could
hardly contain themselves. Their song proceeded with “This is the Lamb
Who was, and is, and is to come, blessed be His Name. Rainbows of one thousand colors danced and pirouetted around the throne, upon which the Magnificent One sat, and glory surrounded Him like a cloud so bright
it pained the eyes to look upon it. Awe, fear, and a sweet terror
gripped my heart as I gazed upon this scene.
Then, He spoke and I felt his love flood my heart like water rushing
over a burst dam. “My beloved,” come! Drink from My fountain of living
waters till your thirst is quenched. One of the helpers handed me a cup
filled with the waters of His presence and love. I drank like a man
dying of thirst. The more of the living waters I drank, the more I
became intoxicated with His love, till I was like a drunken man,
intoxicated with His very smile. I felt ravished by His gaze, known and
loved. He whispered to me so softly, "You are Mine, and I am yours, till
eternity comes to an end."
At last, clothed in His glory and unashamed, at last a return to the Garden, walking
hand in hand, with the Lover of My Soul... I know now why I was created,
why I was born, to BE WITH HIM whom my soul desires and loves. To drink
from the river of life that is HIM!

You are My friend if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends...—John 15:14-15
Jesus wants to call us His friends.
I love being His friend; it's the greatest privilege and joy I'll ever have in this life. He is my joy and I love Him more than any words could say. I love Him and I want others to know Him as I do—to feel His love for them and not just wonder, but truly feel it. The Lord spoke to me and said this would be the year that would begin a time of incredible intimacy with the Him; it would be a honeymoon with His people.
It gives me great pleasure when God's children start to realize His love for them and find the joy of intimacy with Him. He has such love to give us and He wants only to love us and make us a part of His family.
Our Need of Him
One night, I needed Him desperately. I felt lonely in my spirit for Him. Soon I felt His presence near me and in my spirit I knew He was just as lonely for me as I was for Him. I then experienced the most intense spiritual experience I've ever had; it completely overwhelmed me. All I could do was cry. I love Him so much and my relationship with Him is truer than any relationship I have on this earth.
The love I feel for Him is what compels me to help others to truly know His love. There's so much in this life that is unbearably hard. Without God, it's even harder to deal with—almost impossible for some. But His love sets captives free, comforts the lonely and heals the sick. Life is hard, but without Him it's even harder.
It's easy to harden our hearts when we've been hurt—to shut it up with anger and pain or fear—even against God. But running from God isn't the answer. God understands our pain and loves us even when we are angry with Him. Sometimes, we can focus on forgiving all the people in life who have hurt us and yet, without realizing it, though God has done us no harm, we can harbor unforgiveness against Him too.
He wants you to let go of your pain, loneliness and despair and give it to Him. When we refuse to let go of offense, it can drive us even farther from Him. Living separated from God opens our hearts to deep darkness exploited by the enemy. It's a terrible place to be. In the darkness, we can end up doing things we'd never do in the light. And it's easy to strike out at what we can't really see because the darkness has blinded and deceived us.
Yet, if we are able to see even a tiny flicker of light through God's love, our conscience is able to feel again. The darkness is soon exposed, freeing us from our fear of God's light through the safety of His love.
God has always loved us, even if we've hated or rejected Him. Through His love, we can know that even when we refuse to believe in Him, He still believes in us. There have been so many wrongs committed against Him by those He loves, yet He hopes for us, because He can't stop loving His creation.
He knows your heart and what has caused you pain, blinded you and driven you to the darkness. He wants you to know that no matter how long you push Him away and hate Him, no matter how much you blame Him, no matter how much you try to forget about Him, He will never stop loving you. He can't stop.
God's Love for the Lost
I discovered there were two movies released in January 2010 depicting God as a harsh, unloving and even violent god. One is called Legion and the other is Creation (which is the story of Charles Darwin). Legion is the story of a group of people who fight against God and win when He gets fed up with mankind and wants to destroy it.
When I first heard about these movies, I was shocked and stunned. Then my shock turned to grief. I thought, "Have we failed to show the world the true nature of God?"
The synopsis of the movie Legion depicts God as someone who's angry and tired of our sin and has decided we are no longer worthy of Him. Thus, He's seeking our destruction. It's as if they are role playing Revelation 19:19, "Then I saw the beast and the kings of the world and their armies gathering together to fight against the One (Jesus) sitting on the horse and His army," with a twisted outcome. In essence, the message of the movie is: God doesn't love us anymore and He doesn't care about us so we're forced to join forces with a fallen angel and rebel against Him.
So, we see that this unseen war we've been fighting is not about the existence of God (you have to believe in Him in order to make a movie against Him), but is really about the nature of God. Is God love, or is He a harsh and hateful Creator who just wants to dominate us?
So we find our mission made much clearer: to show the world how much God loves them.
I asked the Lord to show me something that would prove His love for mankind. Immediately, I was shown the ark built by Noah. Yes, He did flood the earth because of its intense wickedness, but He made provision to save mankind. He flooded the earth to rescue mankind from the wickedness it had succumbed to.
If the lost could sense His love for them even for a moment, they would know there is more to life than what they've experienced. They feel the empty void in their soul—that's why they try so hard to rage against God. Sin has grabbed them and has tried to devour them. They feel the guilt of sin whether they admit it or not, and the enemy has exploited the darkness they're in to foster rebellion against God. They don't really need more condemnation. What they need is liberty through Christ.
Indeed, the lost may not always realize what they do is sin, but they sense the darkness in their separation from God. Jesus Christ came to the earth NOT to condemn it, but to save it (see John 3:17). He came to set men free from what enslaves them.
God is not full of anger and disgust for His creation. No! He hasn't given up on us. Even in the darkness of our sin, He hasn't stopped loving us. That's why our sin causes Him such pain, because He cannot stop loving us even in the midst of our sin.
He hates sin because of the affect it has on His creation. It causes Him great pain to watch the ones He created fall into sin that will damage and blacken their lives causing them to turn away from Him. No, as much as it hurts Him, God will not stop loving the world. He will not stop trying to save it.
For God so loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life—John 3:16
God so loved. He loved. He loved. God loved even the vilest sinner so much that He gave His Son to save them. Yes, there is redemption for every sinner who repents.
In Germany after the Holocaust of the Jewish people in WW2, how did He react toward those who tried to annihilate them? He did rescue the Jewish people and He did restore their nation to them, but His love went beyond thinking of the victims of this great evil. God's love continues to seek out those through whom this great evil came to be. He sent and is still sending His love into Germany to minister and save those who had perpetrated such atrocities against His people. His heart ached for those lost in darkness who, blinded by sin, tried to blacken out the apple of His eye (see Zechariah 2:8).
God sought out His children who had been wounded by the war—those who'd been victimized by the ruthlessness of their enemies, but also those who'd been held in the grip of an evil so terrifyingly dark they saw no light at all. His love saw what few are able to see. He saw an incredible evil was gripping their hearts and He fought to redeem them from it. Again, there's redemption for everyone who repents.
Hold on to God's Love
God sent His Son to seek and to save those who have lost their way, and through us this world will know His love. They will realize it's real as we cry out for God's mercy for them. Can our love go beyond judgment and plead for His mercy?
In John 8:1-11, the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery to Jesus. But He refused to judge her. Instead, He judged her accusers. Everyone has a story of why they made the choices they made—what has pushed them to the point they are at now—what incident started them on the path they are on. God knows all that they have endured and what's made them who they are. But He has made a commitment to love them through it for He alone can see them rightly. He sees us all as we truly are and He sees us through eyes of love.
We are called to love as God loved us. And He said "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone" (Mark 16:15); the news that He's purchased freedom for us, and redemption from the curse and bondage of sin. Satan has conspired to twist the world's view of God, making them believe God is cold and heartless. He's desperate to keep us from experiencing God's love. The enemy fights against true freedom found only in Christ. He tries to twist the minds of people making them feel as though it is God who is really their enemy.
For those of us who love God, our mission is clear: we must show the world by every means possible that God truly does love them. They will know His love by our love for them. They will know His love through forgiveness and mercy.
It's often so easy for Christians to fall in to the "Pharisaical" mindset of "destroy the sinner." Truly, that's what satan wants us to do. In fact, his plan quite often is to cause the lost to come against us, wound us and persecute us, trying to get us to hate them. He knows if we hammer them with anger and condemnation, they will run away from us as fast as they can, thereby losing the opportunity to show them God's love and mercy.
So, the enemy works at both ends causing us to hate those we are called to reach out to. And when we do, he uses their mistrust toward us to make them misunderstand God.
That is our war: to hold on to our love—to hold on to God's unconditional love. And truly, we can only be victorious if we know God's love for ourselves. Indeed, when we've experienced the captivating power of His unconditional love, we are compelled to forgive and release those who've wounded us and love them.
Our battle is to remember that God SO LOVED the world that He sacrificed His own Son to save them. Every offense is an opportunity for a miracle of His grace.
The abundance of sin in this age should not shock us, for "Where sin does abound, His grace does much more abound" (Romans 5:20). In the midst of great darkness, the light of Christ shines brighter through us to a very desperate world.

Woven Together In One Accord

The Lord showed me a large group of people with their hands joined in a huge circle and the Lord says I desire to see My body in unity with one another. I have called you to be joined as one body in one accord. I have called you to be as one just as the Father and I are one without disunity or division. This is essential for you to go forth in My plans and My purposes in what I've called you to do. And as you come together in harmony you will be as a tapestry woven together with distinct patterns and styles but yet interwoven as one. This is My design for the body of Christ. To be entwined and knit together from every nation and every tribe in a rainbow of colours just as Joseph’s coat of many Colours to be worn by the Master Himself.
And as you come together as a dwelling place for Me, each one of you brings a different gift but each gift compliments the other.
Each one of you comes with a distinct ministry and a distinct calling as you assemble together. Although I have created each one of you individually with a particular style and personality, you must walk in love and pray in agreement as one body. I have assigned to each one of you a specific calling on your life. Do not try to be a hand if you were called to be a foot. Do not say that certain people don't belong in your group. I have created all and I have created each one with a unique personality. I have designed each one of you for My Glory to complete this glorious tapestry says the Lord.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
John 17:22
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body?

This message was posted on a website that I subscribe to. I believe it will help express our Father's love for us.
My daughter, how I love you! -DM
My daughter, my daughter. How I love you! How I long for you when you’re busy, and how I love it when you come to me. Do you know that I look forward to those times, and I miss them when something comes up?
One reason I miss those times is that I don’t get to hear your voice, to feel your breath on my chest. Did you know I love that feeling? It makes me really happy, and it’s hard for me to hold still when you snuggle up to me because I want to jump and dance and sing, but I do hold still so I won’t disturb your rest, so you won’t move, so you’ll stay here. And while you rest, I stroke your hair, and I whisper blessings, My blessings, the blessings of a Father who has never failed you, I whisper these blessings into your heart, your spirit, into your life.
And while you’re resting there, while I’m stroking your hair, I pick off of your back, off your legs, the thorns that you’ve picked up when you were wandering through the briar patch. And I brush away the bruises and the cuts on your knees, on your arms, on your heart, while you rest there, breathing softly onto my chest. Sometimes, my tears drip on your head: tears of joy that you’re with me, and that you let me heal you, tears of sorrow that you’ve had to go through so much. I love you so much, my dear one, my darling.
If you’ll stay for a few minutes after you wake up, I have some things I can tell you. I have some ideas about your future that I believe you’ll like, and I’d like to tell you about them, and hear your thoughts about them. And I have some things I can tell you about school today, about what your mom said yesterday, about a temptation you’re going to face tomorrow. We can talk about those things, and more if you like.
And I want to hear you tell me about your dreams, too. You’ve hidden some of those, even from yourself, but I know they’re there. I put some of them there myself, and some of them are dreams that you had when you were younger and trusted more. When you began to grow out of the innocence of childhood, you put away some of those dreams, thinking that they were childish. Those are not childish dreams, those are child-like dreams, and I love your dreams. I’d love to hear you tell me about them, and I’d love to tell you what I see in them, and I’d love to help you, to make those dreams come true. Will you let me?

“For the Lord God helps me, therefore I am not disgraced; therefore I have set My face My face like a flint” – Isaiah 50:7
I believe the Lord gave me a dream. In this dream a voice distinctly the Lord’s spoke to me. I kept hearing over and over “Men of God arise. Cover your families and yourselves in the blood.” The impression upon my heart was the Lord calling the “men of the house” to rise up, to stand and fight for their families, for their own lives and not lay down their swords.
The following word of the Lord came forth:
Men of God now is the time to arise. The enemy has released many assignments against marriages and families. Now is the time to pick up your swords, and fight for your lives, for your marriages and for your families.
As the head of the house My precious sons, I am asking you to come before Me in intercession. Now is the time My sons to arise and fight. The victory is yours and the victory will not be stolen from you if you continue to fight for what I am revealing to each of you.
Now is the time to stand before Me in worship and be filled to overflowing continually with My Spirit and the overflow shall pour out into your households and families.
My sons rise up! Come deeper in Me and My Word, and spend more time knowing My heart, then out of this overflow shall your household be blessed.
Many of you have been on your knees before Me crying out for answers as to why the attacks have not ceased, why the ailments continue, why the oppression stays, I the Lord say unto you that you have the victory and as you continue to rise up in intercession and wielding of your sword, I will breakthrough into your household.
Do not be weary my sons, you are being strengthened, empowered and purified as you sit before Me in stillness and worship. I love you so much My sons. This is your season; this is the season of the warrior spirit of man arising! It is the faithful, face flinted towards Me men that are going to take over the enemy’s camp.
Do not be complacent in warring for your family and your harvest. Continue to walk before Me in purity, covering all with My blood and you will see the fruit of your sowing protected, nourished, revitalised and strengthened.
The enemy is doing all he can right now to undermine the leadership and authority of many of my sons. Do not listen, do not pay him attention, do not focus on him, focus on Me. Eat My Word more than ever before. As you eat more of My Word, the more your hunger and thirst for Me will increase and enlarge your capacity to hold deeper revelations from Me which you will then pour out into your families.
Men will be changed, outpour to families then families changed, families outpouring into the world and the world changed.
I am about to do a great work in My sons, so the enemy is trying to hinder this work, he will not gain any ground as My sons rise up! I love you My sons, arise!
